This 4 hour course is split over 2 evenings, 1 each week. Learn the essential skills needed to make a professionally finished celebration cake.
You'll learn how to level, split, fill, crumbcoat and cover your cake to a professional finish. Learn how to cover and ribbon your cake drum and make a message using tappitts. Finally, decorate and finish your celebration cake.
There is an optional 3rd week if students want to learn how to dowel and stack a tiered cake - this is an additional £25.
Please note: All equiptment, boards, box, tools, fillings, fondant and 6" round cake will be provided.

This 2 hour course will take you through the principles of how to create a brush embroidered design suitable for cakes, cupcakes and cookies. Some experience of piping would be an advantage, but certainly not a necessity.
All you need to bring is a small piping bag, small flat tipped craft brush (preferably a size 2), adapter, flat palette knife, number 2 piping nozzle and a container to take your finished design home in.
Please note: A 6" iced drum, royal icing and recipe for making perfect piping consistency royal icing at home is supplied.
